This website details all the community activities that Canada's Smartest Kitchen staff undertake with the public, including volunteer efforts, meetings with public and youth organizations, educational activities at the post-secondary and secondary level, and other outreach that our team participates in to give back to those in our region. Charlottetown Rural High School – Garden Program
In the fall of 2018, Canada’s Smartest Kitchen staff visited Charlottetown Rural High School to participate in the harvest of vegetables from the school’s greenhouse program with local students, and review healthy recipes options that could incorporate their produce.
Gulf Shore Consolidated School – Healthy Eating Demo
In the fall of 2018, Canada’s Smartest Kitchen staff visited Gulf Shore Consolidated school in rural Prince Edward Island to participate in hands-on healthy eating food preparation and cooking demonstrations with their students; it was a wonderful and informative visit!
