The team at Canada’s Smartest Kitchen is excited to launch a short consumer survey open to the public and general community, to garner feedback on their interest and knowledge of Kelp as a prevalent food ingredient. The information that will be shared from the survey will assist our ongoing applied research project, that is jointly funded to Holland College, Nova Scotia Community College, and College of the North Atlantic from NSERC-CRSNG, as we move further into our culinary product development and recipe definition phase this year. The project goals thus far have included the study of the availability and sustainability of kelp and possibilities to grow the industry in Atlantic Canada.
The survey opened on Monday, July 24 2023 and will close on Monday, August 7 2023 (a two week participation period). The survey can be found here: for those interested, once your feedback is entered you can enter to win a $200 Amazon gift card.
