Month in Review:
+ Research & Development Chef Allan Williams’s was featured in a cross-collaboration video from Springboard Atlantic, NSERC and Holland College, highlighting the successful and innovative partnership between Canada’s Smartest Kitchen and Tony’s Meats of Antigonish, NS. Check out the video here!
+ Product Developer Krista MacQuarrie was also featured in a cross-collaboration video cookbook series with Holland College – Applied Research, the PEI Association for Community Living, Tremploy Inc. and the provincial government, called “Let’s Get Cooking”– check out the videos and recipes here!
+ As a proud sponsor of the PEI International Shellfish Festival, Canada’s Smartest Kitchen hosted a Kickoff Breakfast to start the weekend right for visiting chefs & culinary influencers, led by Research & Development Chef Michael Bryanton at the Culinary Institute of Canada – Dining Room on beautiful downtown Charlottetown’s waterfront.
+ CSK staff were also involved with another Fall Flavours PEI event again this year, the Savour Victoria village feast throughout the picturesque community of Victoria-By-The-Sea: Chefs Jennifer Bryant, Christine Murnaghan, Krista MacQuarrie and Allan Williams led the support, for event host Chef Chuck Hughes. It was a seasonal highlight for all!
+ Chef Christine Murnaghan and Chef Allan Williams were in Montreal at the end of the month for the inaugural Canadian Seafood Show: check out this amazing video of them both shucking oysters with PEI Minister of Fisheries & Communities, Jamie Fox!
