For 30 years, Tim has worked in food service, hospitality, and tourism. As a Red Seal chef, Tim holds a PhD, MEd, Culinary Management diploma, and post-degree diploma in Adult Education. Prior to working as a post-secondary educator and administrator, Tim worked as a professional chef, holding various executive-level positions. In addition to leading large scale, fine dining, and catering divisions, Tim has worked in areas such as culinary brand ambassadorship, product development, television, consultancy, and strategic business development.
Tim integrates his industry experiences and advanced research skills into business development and team-based leadership to support and grow the world-class reputation of Canada’s Smartest Kitchen.
