Canada’s Smartest Kitchen purchased some new equipment to help entrepreneurs develop food and beverage products. Thanks to a federal grant, CSK was able to purchase a data logger to provide services that we couldn’t before. This will allow the Product Developers to get a better understanding of what’s happening to a product as it’s being processed.
HOW IT WORKS
The Product Developer will place the data logger in the food product.
The product then goes through a set of tests to see how it reacts to certain temperatures over a certain amount of time.
The data then gets transferred from the data plate to a computer.
