Product Developer
Krista MacQuarrie brings over 15 years of hands-on restaurant experience and 8 years as a Product Developer to the Canada’s Smartest Kitchen team. She is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of Canada Culinary Arts Program, Pastry Arts Program, and has an Applied Degree in Culinary Operations. An avid learner, she has a certificate in Collaborative Leadership & Facilitation from UPEI and is currently in the process of completing her Certificate in Adult Education, a joint UPEI & Holland College program.
Krista’s strong understanding of client needs, industry trends, and technical ingredients have helped her develop many successful products for clients in the healthy nutrition market. Krista’s strong project management skills have supported the growth of many clients; she also has keen interests in the areas of food photography and styling, healthy food products, and innovative product development.
